bleh.

I'm pretty sure you all know what I'm talking about.

sniff, sniff. cough, cough.

I particularly find head colds to be the worst. There are times in the day where I feel the need to brace myself against a pillow because I know, any second, my head will burst. It hasn't happened, yet. Not to mention the amount of tissues/toilet paper I get to go through.

This sickness makes my mind and body feel like mush. Weak, tired, whiny, and absolutely unproductive. If I do have the chance to lay down and rest, I end up laying in bed (or on the couch) not sleeping, but feeling all the fluids moving inside my noodle, making it most difficult to get past the throbbing and rest my sleepy eyes.

I am doing my best to keep this all to myself (call me selfish). My husband has enough to deal with and shouldn't have this yucky cold on top of that. So, it's kisses on the cheek, washing of hands constantly, and separate cups.

How long will this last?
Tips and advice are gladly accepted!

  1. Get as much sleep as you can. Find some tylenol cold and take some. If it gets worse go to the doctor. Stay warm and feel better Cassie. I hope it doesn't last too long.
