Love, Love Love!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Dale and I were in Pense yesterday to celebrate Daniel's birthday a day early, so he and I decided we would do our valentine's a day late!

Now ladies, try not to swoon too much as I go into detail of how my husband spoiled me today. He's taken. By me. And I will never let him go.

So, he picked me up from work, as usual, and we started heading home. We got out of the car and walked towards the house, Dale unlocked the outside door and told me to go in first. No big deal, I walk inside the door and then he hands me the keys to open up the second door..(this was where I started getting suspicious)

I look down the stairs towards the second door and I see a little ziplock bag taped to the door handle. (In all honesty, I thought our land lady was just being sentimental) So, I walked down the steps and took the bag off the door knob so I could unlock the door. Dale says "What are those?" and they were Hersey's Hugs.

I open up the door and hear our song (Better Together by Jack Johnson) playing in the background. I try to get inside to start taking my boots and coats off as I start tripping over these things that are all over the floor.

I managed to take my boots and coat off and sit on my butt and started picking up these Hersey's Kisses that were all on the floor in a pathway leading to the bathroom. (Ok, I'll admit, I didn't know how much I wanted to be keeping these kisses that were heading into the bathroom... Germs...)

Still sliding forwards on my butt trying to collect my kisses in the ziploc bag, I scoot into the bathroom and sit on the little ledge just before the shower, where the trail ended. The shower door was opened so I peeked my head inside wondering what I was supposed to do next, and this is what I see..

Get it? Hugs, Kisses, and Shower?!

So now that I'm totally bawling my face off (you know, the kind of cry that no girl is proud of) like the pathetic emotional pregnant woman I am, Dale comes up behind me and say's "Well, will you?" Needless to say, I will always be his valentine, I mean, who wouldn't?!

So, wiping my eyes and blowing my nose, we decided that using some of the coupons we had (Thanks, Aunt Sheri!) we would have a romantic Subway dinner.

After our dinner we headed over to play some mini-golf! (Also courtesy of Aunt Sheri's coupon)  I was a little hesitant about that much walking around cause I get tired so easily, but I wanted to go so off we went. Now, Dale and I play mini-golf very differently. I'm more of a "whack-the-ball" player where as Dale likes to go into angles and power and science... Would you like to know who won mini-golf? Well after Dale got three different hole-in-one's, I beat him, 49 - 50. Oh yah, did I mention that I am 24 weeks pregnant AND carried a purse around the whole time?!

After mini-golf, we treated ourselves to a slur-pee! Okay, so we treated me to a slur-pee that Dale will help polish off.

I couldn't have asked for a better evening, a better valentine's day, or a better husband. I love him to pieces and hope he knows that!! I love you Dale!!
