Day Six! Part C

How terrible am I! I know, I know, It's been months since I last posted! And you're all waiting for the best part! I will make it up to you, somehow..

Okay, okay, day six, part c. My personal favourite part of the trip! Disney's Magic Kingdom. Crazy, right? Although, we were there at the very end of the day so I didn't get to see any princesses or ride any of the "Cassie-style" rides. All the more reason to go back, right? That's what I'm thinking.

Here we go! (Haha Picture Peter Pan saying that, that's what I do)

We got there just in time to see all the buildings lit up, and the Magic Kingdom Castle switching colors. As the minutes pass, the crowd gathers in preparation for...

The Light Parade!

Here's Tinker-Bell!

Quite a few pictures of Alice in Wonderland!

There is Cinderella!

Peter Pan & Captain Hook!

The Seven Dwarfs! (Snow White was in there somewhere..)

There's Pinocchio and the big whale

Pete's Dragon

This one said "A Tribute to Amercia" that had a long stretched out flag and a big gold eagle at the end.

Me in my new sweater

These pictures were right before the big fireworks. Sadly, we didn't stay for the entire show. We had to travel back to the Epcot center to make sure that we caught our ride that took us back to our resort. But man, were they ever big! And they were basically the greatest I've ever seen.

Now, the end of our trip is just a plane ride, a connection, and a ride home. Although, there is one story worth noting that happened while we were waiting in the airport at six o'clock in the morning. Dale and I did not get the amount of sleep that we should have so at this stage, most things, to us, were super funny. The airport started to really fill up at about six, so there was an older couple who were sitting right beside us. We were trying to pass the time, when a man in a wheel chair was wheeled over to the gate that we were going to be getting on. This man was quite a bit older than anyone else around. He had his grey hair, his shirt tucked in, and in his hand was his belt. (I assume that he had to take it off while going through security because I had to do the same!) So we were just looking around to pass the time, when out of my eye I see this old man standing up out of his chair to put on his belt. Now, normally this wouldn't have been anything special. But Dale, being rather sleepy, made this comment.."It's a Christmas Miracle!" Haha needless to say, we both burst out into laughter and just could not control ourselves. We were laughing, we got the couple beside us laughing, it was a hoot! We laughed about that all the way home.

Let me tell you, this trip was all that I could have asked for. I love my husband so much. We were so lucky to have been given the opportunity to take this trip. (Thanks to my boss, Adam) I loved being able to actually go on a honeymoon. Being young, in school, and pretty unprepared, it's not something we could've done without the love of those who gave us wedding gifts, love and support. And now, it's written down for all to see, and for me to remember forever.

xoxo
