It's a...

Baby!!

I know, I know, you were hoping that I'd let you in on the gender secret... Well folks, looks like you're in for disappointment. I, and Dale, have decided that we will not be finding out if our little one is a he or a she. As long as my babe is giggling and growing, I'm one happy mama.

Anywho, as you can tell, we have had our first ultrasound! What an amazing experience. I am so ecstatic that technology has allowed me to see the life in me. At the beginning, I wasn't allowed to watch because she needed measurements, etc. but Dale got to watch the whole thing! Apparently our little baby is a wiggler! Right when she thought she had her measurements, baby would jerk it's little head around and wiggle it's body. Let me tell you, the moment I laid eyes one the person on the screen, I feel in love. More love than I thought was human. I am so excited to show this babe all the love in this world!

In other news, (actually it's the exact same news) this is a picture at 14 weeks! None of my clothes fit me anymore, my belly is beginning to cover my feet (from my view looking down anyways) and I've never felt more pregnant in my life. Which is a funny fact because I've never actually been this pregnant! Haha. Sorry. Some days I go to sleep at 8:00 p.m. and wake up at 7:00 a.m. and feel like I haven't slept in weeks! I'm only getting up once so far to use the bathroom at night, but my sleeping positions are becoming limited. My belly bumped into a doorknob today. My morning sickness is HOPEFULLY on the train out of town! (knock on wood) I've gone from taking the medicine after every meal and twice before bed, to only having to take the two before bed! I'm loving everything about being pregnant!

Any bets on how long it's going to take for my belly to reach the doorknob?

glad you are feeling better and that things are going well. mom thomson always told me to enjoy & cherish each day of being pregnant with number one; you will never have the luxury of being so focused on a pregnancy again! it will fly by quicker than you can imagine, and even more so when that baby arrives!
we're just so happy for you two. see you in a few days!!
