Happy Birthday Thomas!

Happy Birthday sweet sweet boy of mine!

What a fun-filled day we had! Full of family, treats, and gifts to open!

You were so excited when you woke up and mommy and daddy sang happy birthday to you over and over! You knew today was special! Your eyes lit up when we took you into the living room, sat you on the couch and handed you your first present! It took you twenty minutes to open it though, you really loved the ribbons on top.

But you loved the dump truck inside even more!

After a yummy breakfast of pancakes, yougurt, and fruit we packed up all your party stuff and headed out to Grandma and Grandpa Dilts's house for your party! While mommy set up all the food and decorations, daddy took care of entertaining you! He blew up all these balloons for you to play with!

As you can tell, they made you really excited!

Aunty Janna and Uncle Taylor came from Winnipeg to spend time with you on your birthday! You loved playing with them and getting lots of cuddles!

After a yummy BBQ lunch you got to play with all your friends and family that came to visit! Daddy even took you out onto the trampoline in the backyard! You kept yelling at the window to get our attention to watch you jump and run and play with daddy and your friends!

This picture is a very special picture! It has you, your mommy, my step-mom, her mom AND her mom! A five generation picture!

But this one is extra special to me. I love the joy you bring into my life every day. I love the sweet sweet kisses you share with me just because. I hope that you will always want to have cuddles with me, play dinosaurs with me, and read bed time stories together.

Next was present time! You were so good at opening your gifts. You got so excited when you saw the present and pulled it out of it's wrapping.

We even got this silly picture with your cool hat! Your favorite toys to play with from your birthday are some plastic dinosaurs from Aunty Janna and a talking Elmo that teaches you your ABC's. You love to crawl around with your dino's saying "rawwwwww"

Your Nana sent you this cool play box with fun activities on all the sides! You love to play with the beads and sending the wooden animals over their wires. Thanks nana!

Next came the cake! It's a good thing mommy has some years ahead to perfect my cake decorating skills, but you didn't seem to mind! Mommy and Daddy stayed up late decorating your cake and mommy even made cupcakes to match!

You were very cautious about eating your cupcake and didn't want to get too messy. But little man, you are a pro at blowing out the candles!

It was a wonderful day little love of mine! I wish you all the best in this year to come. Keep growing strong, learning new things, and never stop smiling.

Love you always,
Mommy & Daddy!
