This is the view we have outside of our window.
I will admit we live in a basement suite so the ground is level with our window, but this picture is no illusion of "more snow than there is", this folks, is the real deal. Snow drifts taller than any boots I own. (There was over a foot of snow dropped in a 24 hour period. Crazy, no?) We might need to go out and buy a small shovel to keep in the back of the car, just in case.
With this lovely addition outside, I've lost all will power. I've found my trustee online Christmas music station, been out shopping for gifts, and thinking of decorating already! How can you resist? The cold sucks, but the beauty of it all just takes my breath away.
This weather is here to stay.
so what's your trusty online christmas station? I took Jovie and Tadeo out to play in the snow this afternoon. Jovie was addicted to eating the snow.. I should use her can of root beer from halloween to make snow comes! keep warm and cozy!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh when I read your blog- I've been fighting the urge to decorate for Christmas all day. We did start listening to Christmas carols on the way to church on Sunday.
