1) He loves his voice. He will talk for hours. He even has screaming competitions with himself.
2) Reading books. If he starts getting fussy because he's bored, we pull out books. He watches intently as we turn the pages to discover the new pictures on the other pages. He even gets excited and wants to hold the books on his own!
4) Tommy is starting to play shy. Grandma Thomson has had the unfortunate experience a couple times of picking little Tommy up and having him start sticking out his bottom lip in a pout and then start to cry. It's also pretty adorable to watch but also sad for the person who wants to hold him. He also gets kind of nervous when he is bombarded with a bunch of people surrounding him and talking to him or being loud. This happens quite often at church with little children who are excited to see him.
5) This boy just might be a finger sucker! He'll get both hands as close to his face as he can and knock out his soother just so he can fit four or five fingers in his mouth. But then, of course, he starts gagging himself and doesn't like it all that much so he starts crying.
6) My baby is a happy one. It's so heart-warming to have him wake up from a nap and look at me and get this grin that travels from ear to ear. It's moments like that where I totally over look the not so good nights he has, or the unknown screaming for hours on end. I love being a mommy!
7) As much as I want Thomas to be a mommy's boy, I'm sure glad he loves his daddy. Dale has started up school again which means he's gone most of the day. When Tommy sees Dale smile at him when he comes from his day at school, it's almost as if his smile is saying "Finally, someone new to play with!" Sadly, Dale has a pretty heavy workload this semester so there isn't too much play time before he has to hunker down and start the homework. But, Tommy doesn't mind.
8) This little guy is a t.v. junkie. He loves to turn his head and body around until he can watch the show just like everyone else. It does a good job of entertaining him for a few minutes while I have some odd jobs to get done.
