Merry Christmas!

Oh what fun it is to spend with a little one in sight!

This year we headed out to Winnipeg for Christmas! We were going to take our car and have Taylor follow us in his car. But, when we were getting ready to pack up the car super early in the morning, ours wouldn't start. Sooo, we all crammed into taylor's car, fit in as much gear as we could, and headed on our way!

We stopped in Brandon to have lunch with my wonderful grandparents, as we wouldn't be seeing them in Winnipeg, and we had so much fun chatting and catching up!

Then we finished up the trip to Elie (It's about 20 minutes outside of Winnipeg) and just relaxed.

On Christmas Eve we headed into the city to spend the evening with Dale's family at Oma's house. Note to self: When Dale says that he knows where he's going, always go and print out some sort of directions anyways. Don't get me wrong, the hour long detour through downtown Winnipeg was beautifully lit up and fun to see, but made it quite difficult to find dear Oma's house. Long story short, we showed up at the end of the program and just in time for treats and gifts. After all our visiting, we were home to bed!

This guy was up bright and early Christmas morning! Thankfully, so was Dale. I got a little bit more sleep before our 8 a.m. wake up call!

This was the pretty tree up at Nana's house! It's sort of leaning a bit but I don't think anyone minded. After opening up our stocking's at my mom's house, (Nana, as she likes to be called), we munched on some breakfast and then loaded up in the car to get to my Grandma and Grandpa Farmer's house!

Tommy could hardly contain his excitement for opening gifts! In the meantime, I snagged this awesome picture. I love these boys so much! After opening all the gifts with the family, we chatted, napped, played, and basically just kept ourselves busy while the big dinner was cooking in the kitchen! Seriously grandma and grandpa, that turkey was the best!

Then, all our goodies were loaded up into the car and we headed back to Nana's house to open up all our gifts there. (That's how it has always gone. We only open our stockings at mom's house then head right to the grandparents. Then when we get home we get to open up everything else.)

It was a long and wonderful day!

Thomas loves his new snow suit from Great - grandma & grandpa!

On Boxing day, everyone was in the city doing some more shopping while Dale, Thomas and I were getting all ready to make the trip out to Auntie Teresa and Uncle Geoff's new home!

We spent the afternoon and evening with almost all of the Dilts side of the family, catching up and munching down on some seriously yummy appies!

I don't know if you've ever tried to take a large family photo, but there is always that one person that just makes everything difficult. Haha. My little brother.

It really was a Merry Christmas! From our family to yours, I hope you have a wonderful New Year with lots of blessings and prosperity headed your way!

Love,
The Thomson Trio!
